I keep trying to write the zones I've created to the radio but only the first 8 out of the fifteen created make it there. I did achieve nine one time. I did make each zone had a valid channel programmed into it this time. oem software transfers fine so I know it's not the radio.
Not sure what is going on.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Re: zones
HI Greg,
Send me your codeplug via PM or email etc.. and I'll have a look and see if I can replicate it.
My personal codeplug has 35 zones and just over 1600 channels between them and everything can be accessed from the radio after writing.
Sounds like it's hitting some error or exception that is being bypassed, allowing the codeplug to be generated and written but only containing 8 zones out of however many..
Cheers,

Re: zones
I am having the same issue myself. I have 12 zones created but only 5 make it to the radio.
Re: zones
Issue has been found.. and fixed
Just waiting to push an update out once I fix some other reported bugs.

As I had changed the underlying logic to ignore ID's and use names instead, the IDs were being allowed to exist more than once.
Also when re-ordering zones or channels, the ID's were no longer in chronological order, which again the radio refuses to read.
Using your JSON as an example.. opened in a text editor.. if you look at the Zone ID's.. they are;
1,2,3,4,5,12,12,7,9,16,13,15
After the 5th zone there is a duplicate.. and then in a random order with missing numbers in the sequence.. Hence why only the first 5 zones would appear on the radio.

I have updated the code to re-generate the ID's for each zone and all channels within each zone when saving a codeplug or writing to the radio.
This means that all ID's are unique and chronological
I have a few other bug-fixes in progress so an update will be sent out soon.
