Radioddity DB-25D pro cable connection

Trying to connect my radio to my windows 11 computer. following all instructions and can't get it to connect. The manual says it should have a prolific chip and mine has a FTDI chipset and shows com 4 I start the radio holding Power and P1 and get the white screen open code plug editor choose com 4 and hit read from radio and message says read failed Read_2M_V1.08BZSRJun 30 202310:39:48

I too am having issues with windows 11, I can not seem to connect to the computer through the Radioddity cable , the proper drivers to the best of my knowledge. I keep receiving windows errors (#43 & #45)
