Hey all,
New owner of a GD-88 here. Figured out how to firmware update my GD-88 to the latest firmware on Radioddity's website using the CPEditor without much issue.
I had read somewhere to make a codeplug from scratch instead of reading, editing and writing a codeplug from the radio due to potential firmware issues.
When I go to add a new zone or channel to a codeplug, the CPEditor program acts as if I have clicked the "Remove Selected Zone" button. If I click OK on the popup for deleting the zone from clicking the "Add New Channel" or "Add New Zone" button, it will delete the zone. I have replicated this issue across two different Win 10 computers and have redownloaded the CPEditor program from the website on both computers. Problem persists. I am trying to use the x64 version.
Any thoughts or recommendations?

Hmm.. You're right, not sure how the buttons managed to get mixed.
It should be fixed now, although the updater was also broken (invalid URL giving a 404 error)
So you'd need to re-download from the website to get the updated version with the updated updater
