Then when the codeplug is written to the radio, these parameters will be updated.

Re: DB40-D Factory number and serial number
The factory number and serial number fields are not important, as in they are not used for anything nor are they unique between radios. All radios are programmed with the same numbers, they can be changed manually if you want to enter your own, for whatever reason. As for the radioid screen, you can...

Re: HAM CONTACTS Mistery Where is this ?
Ham Contacts are accessed by the "Tools" menu bar option. Then "Write Ham Contacts"
This will bring up that window where you can select and upload the DMRID Database to the radio.

It is fairly straight forward but to avoid repeating myself.. There is a Wiki page that explains how it works.

Re: AllCall
From the Official CPS, it doesn't appear that AllCall will allow you to input the 'typical' ID of 167776415 as it only accepts 8 digits. The value ranges are: All call ID value range: 16777200~16777215 No address ID value range: 16777184~16777199 CPEditor only has Private and Group calls included as...

Re: New TalkGroup on the fly
In short; You can't. However.. it is possible but not as easy as you might think, especially while driving or for quick on-the-fly changes! Since you cannot ADD NEW channels to the radio, from the radio. You can update existing ones. So first, you would need a "blank" channel or one that y...

Re: attempting to download 0.3.1231
Glad to hear it worked.
There have been a few reports of issues running it through virtualization (WINE, Parallels etc).. Unfortunately I don't have means to test it that way.

Re: CPEditor Unusable now PLEASE help
Send me your files, I'll take a look. Ideally you should create a new codeplug using CPEditor and start fresh to build your own codeplug. Starting from data downloaded from the radio, potentially on an old firmware version, can cause issues, especially if you have used the official CPS. It's likely ...

Re: Radioddity AND Retevis Version unable to install together
The only difference between them is the name and images, otherwise they are exactly the same and will work with any of the mentioned radios. (In order to allow advertising and sharing of the software on their website/blog/Facebook etc.. Radioddity didn't want references to other brands radios, hence...
