GD-88 does not turn on.

Hello, the radio won't turn on after flashing the firmware:
1. Programming failed, an error occurred.
2. The radio won't turn on.
However, when I press P1 + the power button, the radio enters programming mode.
Can you tell me what else I can do to restore the radio's functionality? I followed the programming instructions.

If you can still enter the firmware update mode, then just try flashing the firmware again. Perhaps also download it again as it's possible it could be a corrupt download.
It's fairly safe and you shouldn't 'brick' the radio so long as DFU mode is still accessible.
Also check that you are in the correct DFU mode. IAP_A and IAP_B for the two firmware files.
If you have any other programming cables. You can try that also as some can have trouble with firmware updates. Especially older Prolific or CH340 cables that were supplied with the radio.
I believe Radioddity started supplying FTDI cables, although not sure if that's still the case. FTDI is the recommended cable type as it generally causes less issues, especially with drivers on Win11.

Everything worked, but only after I changed the cable. Thank you very much for your time.
