Hello MM7DBT,
since my post under viewtopic.php?p=994#p994 will probably go unanswered and I've already found other posts along similar lines (viewtopic.php?p=896#p896), here's a suggestion:
When an import from a CSV file fails, a corresponding error message appears (invalid CSV format). However, it's impossible to see what's wrong.
In my case, for example, it's definitely not due to the column headers, because I extracted a codeplug using CPedit, exported the Channel/Zones list as a CSV, and then tried to import the same CSV (without any changes) again, only to get an error message. So something must be changing when the CSV is saved.
Since the CSV content is being checked in the background, please include not only the result of the check in the message, but also the reason for the result. Whether it's simply the error message "Error in column xy, row xy," or the complete syntax that caused the error.

Logfile for importing CSV
Re: Logfile for importing CSV
There are multiple error messages for different errors (name lengths, CTCSS Tones <> DCS Tones, Contact not found, ScanList not found etc..)
"Invalid CSV Format" only appears when the headers do not match.. so something is changing it. Whether it is Windows formatting, language format etc.. I don't know.
I have no issues exporting and importing channels (with or without changes).

The cross platform update should now be available, which has been completely re-written from the ground up.
Which of course is likely to introduce new bugs but hopefully it works better.
See the website homepage for links.
