I think I read somewhere in this forum a message about how the practical maximum number of contacts (e.g. talk groups) in the Contacts list (not the Ham Contacts list) decreased when Radioddity added APRS support. Something about developers using a bit to indicate APRS status cutting in half how many contacts the radio can actually use (vs. how many contact records one can create in the CPS).
I want to share that information with another ham but I've looked and looked and can no longer find that message. Perhaps it wasn't in this forum, but I'm fairly certain there's no place else I would have seen it.
I will appreciate anyone who can point me in the correct direction!
